Toyfinity started as a collaboration between toy industry professionals, historians and enthusiasts. They entered testing and design phase in December 2010, and have been adding to their database ever since. The goal is to provide authoritative and complete photo-driven checklists of the major toy lines since 1964, with a major focus on the lines from 1977 to the present day.

They've developed their site to include user-interactive components, in an effort to allow people greater access to content, and to make it of greater value to collectors as they research their own areas of interest.[1]
